Bilingual Crisis Counselor/Case Manager
The purpose of this position is to provide delivery of coordinated, effective case management and crisis services for victims of domestic violence and sexual violence. In addition the position will include responding to lethality assessments conducted by first responders, supportive counseling, efiling, immigration assistance, provision of basic needs, and information and referral to individuals and families who have  experienced or are experiencing domestic or sexual violence in order to promote long-term self-sufficiency and healing. This position will serve all victims and survivors, but will focus on the needs of Spanish-speaking clients.

Case Manager/Counselor
The purpose of this position is to provide on-site coverage and case management/counseling services to residents in residential program. These services include, but are not limited to, case management, supportive counseling, advocacy, referral and connection with appropriate wrap-around services. Evening Crisis Line Coordinator
This position will focus on the needs of all crisis line callers that call into InterAct’s 24-hour crisis hotline. This involves serving as an in-office counselor between the hours of 4:00pm and 8:00pm Monday through Friday, specifically but not limited to answering crisis calls. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to lethality assessments, emergency shelter intakes, supportive counseling, advocacy and data entry.

Development Officer
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Development Officer is a member of the Resource Development Team. This full-time position will engage donors in support of InterAct’s critical, life-saving services using the “Benevon Model” for sustainable funding.  The successful applicant will have an energetic and cheerful personality, and be committed to InterAct’s mission of saving lives, rebuilding lives, and securing safer futures for victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Wake County, NC.  The Development Officer works in partnership with the Resource Development Team to cultivate relationships with existing and prospective donors engaging them in InterAct’s mission and developing a pipeline of future support.  Key responsibilities including donor relations, prospecting, data entry, and special events.  The person in this position works in partnership with the Development Team to implement strategic and tactical fund development plans to exceed or at a minimum meet contributed income revenue goals in support of InterAct’s short and long-range needs.

Shelter House Monitor

Shelter Pool Staff
This position will focus on the needs of all residents (adults and children) in the shelter for battered women and children on an as needed basis.
