Women ages 16-24 are four times as likely to be raped than any other population group.

The purpose of InterAct's new Rape Prevention Education (RPE) program is to develop a sexual violence prevention plan to reach college-aged students in Wake County in an effort to increase community awareness of sexual violence and decrease incidence of rape/sexual assaults on college campuses.

InterAct is working to strengthen and expand community collaborations to enhance the role of various community stakeholders in the prevention of sexual violence, as well as implement the "Healthy College Dating Relationship" curriculum.
