Learning to value your ideas and accepting yours’ and others’ individuality and differences.

During this presentation, students will learn how to view the differences of themselves and others in positive ways and work to make connections with their classmates.

Learning about domestic violence and practicing safety planning.   

During this presentation, students will learn what domestic violence is and plan how they can stay safe in these situations.

 

Don’t Lose Control!                                                                                                         

Learning healthy ways of expressing anger without hurting self or others.  

During this presentation, students will learn about positive and negative ways to release anger and expressing anger through I-statements.

 

Fair Play                                                                                          

Learning how to solve conflicts in non-violent ways and learning to cooperate with others.

During this presentation, students will discuss different types of groups, the skills that are important when working with others, and will get an opportunity to work in groups.

 

Good Touch/Bad Touch

Learning how to assert your physical boundaries.

During this presentation, students will learn about the difference between good and bad touches, good and bad secrets, threats, bribes, and how to get help from adults.

 

Positive Connections                                                                                          

Learning how to be safe and interact in positive ways online.

During this presentation, students will learn about online safety and cyberbullying through discussion and activities.
